This page explains the cookies, browser storage and similar device-access technologies used by ThisFont and the Exceptional Web Brands (EWB) layer.

Essential privacy-choice storage
ewb_consent_this_font is stored in your browser so ThisFont can
remember whether you accepted, rejected or individually selected optional
purposes. The choice also records the EWB policy version and can be retained for
up to 180 days.
This storage is necessary to remember and honour the privacy choice you have already made.
Optional EWB visitor and session identifiers
If at least one optional EWB purpose is enabled, EWB may create a site-scoped
visitor identifier (ewb_vid_this_font) and session identifier
(ewb_sid_this_font). They are specific to ThisFont rather than a
portfolio-wide behavioural identifier.
When all optional EWB purposes are switched off, the EWB client removes those identifiers.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is configured through EWB and does not load until you allow Analytics. Once Analytics is enabled, Google Analytics may create or read its own browser identifiers as part of providing the analytics service.
Advertising measurement and personalisation
Advertising measurement and Personalisation are separate optional choices. Contextual advertising can be selected from the content of the current page without requiring those optional purposes. Personalised advertising is not enabled merely because a contextual advert is shown.
Font favourites and ThisFont preferences
ThisFont can use browser local storage to remember font favourites and similar on-device preferences. This is separate from EWB Analytics. Favourites remain in that browser until you remove them or clear the site's stored data.
Third-party font previews
Some font previews may request CSS or font files from third-party font providers such as Google Fonts. These network requests are part of displaying the font preview and are separate from EWB's optional Analytics setting.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use Privacy choices at any time to accept, reject or change optional purposes. Clearing browser site data can also remove stored choices, but the on-site control is the preferred way to update your settings.
